We built this ladder out of necessity — not to sell something to everyone.

We want every customer to feel confident, safe, and completely satisfied.

So here’s exactly what you need to know before ordering.

Quick Compatibility Checklist

Ladder Length: 48 inches (122 cm) fully extended
Water Depth Requirement: At least two steps must sit below the waterline for safe use.
Platform/Dock Height: Ideally, no more than 18-20 inches (46-51 cm) from water to top of platform
Dog Size: Built for dogs up to 100 lbs (45 kg) NOT FOR HUMAN USE
Mounting Surface: Requires at least 17 inches (43 cm) of flat space
Installation: Permanent mount (3 drilled holes, hardware included)

If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your setup before buying. We’ll tell you honestly if it’s a good fit.

This ladder is for dogs only.
It’s not designed for human use — no matter how small or light your kids are.
Mounting matters.
Your swim platform or dock must be structurally sound.
If it can’t handle weight safely, we’d rather you not buy it.
Every boat is different.
We designed nautiDAWGS to work across pontoons, cruisers, hunting boats, and docks — but measurements matter.
When in doubt, email us first.
We’d rather answer questions than process returns.

We stand behind every nautiDAWGS ladder. If it doesn’t fit or feel right, send it back within 60 days for a full refund.

Please keep the original packaging and hardware to help us reuse and recycle.
We reserve the right to inspect for damage or missing hardware before issuing a refund.
